Bluevale student goes three-for-three at Track Wars

Thursday, May 4, 2012, I got a call from the Photo/Graphics Editor for The Record, Rod Frketich, to cover Track Wars at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School.  Well…one of my photos got published along with the Reporter for The Record, Mark Bryson’s story!!!

Good day today…

….Last night I came home to Kitchener from Belleville simply because I was bored and to my surprise I got a call from The Record to shoot the Track Wars at my old high school at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School.  Brought back lots of memories, and also gave me something to do when I thought I would be doing much.  I love my new found future career!  =D

Mandy Bujold is one of Canada’s hopefuls for the 2012 London Olympic games. I had the opportunity to do a multimedia/multiple photo story on her for two of my Photojournalism classes at Loyalist College. Mandy, also known as “Mighty Mandy,” is a Kitchener-Waterloo resident, she trains really hard and is a wonderful person to be around. I wish her the best at the Olympics, and I’m sure she’ll do great to represent Canada!

Also my portfolio has been updated at www.WYNTERPHOTOGRAPHY.ca

In my multiple picture class, we put together a mock-up photo story layout on our multiple photo story.  The first photo is my mock-up, and the following photos are what is in my mock-up.  My photo story is on a female boxer named Mandy Bujold who is a Canadian hopeful for the 2012 London Olympic Games.  To learn more about her you can go to my site and view my multimedia piece at www.wynterphotography.ca or by clicking MANDY BUJOLD.

46hr Mystery Assignment

Hi,

Yesterday April 3, 2012, our teachers gave us our “46hr Mystery Assignment”, which I did today.  We had to go out and find someone over the age of 58, interview and photograph them, and have our article in by April 5 at 1:00 sharp.  I think I spent about an hour or two with my subject, and when it was time to leave, I felt like he didn’t want me to go =(  He even gave me one of his rocks from his rock collection…
